<b>Guidance from the Hadith:</b><br> 1) It is recommended to greet children, for this teaches them the Shariah etiquette and trains people to be humble.<br> 2) The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) were keen to follow the Prophet’s example. This is what every believer should do. In every deed he does, he should do it sincerely for the sake of Allah and in compliance with the Prophet’s example.<br> 3) When we deal humbly with children, this gives them a sense of worth and instills into them respect and reverence towards the adults.
