Riyad as-Salihin, 521
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Richness is not the abundance of wealth, rather it is self-sufficiency." <b>[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]</b>.
عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "ليس الغنى عن كثرة العرض، ولكن الغنى غنى النفس" ((متفق عليه)). "العرض" بفتح العين والراء: هو المال.

<b>Guidance from the Hadith:</b><br>
1) The useful commendable richness is the sense of richness derived from self-contentment.<br>
2) The Shariah teaches a believer the true standards in life. Real richness is not the wealth and worldly possessions a person has, but it is his contentment and modesty. It is the richness of the heart.
