Riyad as-Salihin, 486
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The poor will enter Jannah five hundred years before the rich." <b>[At-Tirmidhi, who classified it as Hadith Sahih]</b>.
وعن أبي هريرة، رضي الله عنه، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:
يدخل الفقراء الجنة قبل الأغنياء بخمسمائة عام
((رواه الترمذي وقال: جديث صحيح)).

<b>Guidance from the Hadith:</b><br>
1) The poor will be quicker in entering Paradise, as patient poor people have nothing to distract them from the Hereafter.<br>
2) Wealth usually hinders one from good deeds. So, a poor person should be patient and grateful to his Lord, and let him rejoice at this Prophetic glad tiding.
