Riyad as-Salihin, 450
'Abdullah bin Ash-Shikhkhir (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
I came to Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) when he was performing prayers. He was sobbing and his chest sounded like a boiling kettle. <b>[Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi]</b>.
وعن عبد الله بن الشخير، رضي الله عنه ، قال: أتيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، وهو يصلي ولجوفه أزيز كأزير المرجل من البكاء. ((حديث صحيح رواه أبو داود، والترمذي بإسناد صحيح)).

<b>Guidance from the Hadith:</b><br>
1) It highlights the Prophet’s perfect fear of Allah Almighty. The sound of his weeping was a clear sign of that.<br>
2) There is nothing wrong with signs of humility showing on a person without affectation. Verily, a good deed brings light and radiance to the faces of the pious.
