Riyad as-Salihin, 400

Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:

I heard Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying, "Mankind will stand before Allah, the Rubb of the worlds (on the Day of Resurrection), some of them will stand submerged in perspiration up to half of their ears". <b>[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]</b>.

وعن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما أن رسول الله، صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال‏

‏ يقوم الناس لرب العالمين حتى يغيب أحدهم في رشحه إلى أنصاف أذنيه‏

<b>Guidance from the Hadith:</b><br> 1) There will be great horrors on that day to the extent that perspiration will be so profuse.<br> 2) People’s perspiration will differ according to the difference in their deeds. Their deeds will affect their positions in the land of resurrection. Blissful are those who acted rightly in the life of this world and will be among those whom Allah will shade on the Day of Judgment.
