Riyad as-Salihin, 383
Abu Karimah Al-Miqdam bin Ma'dikarib (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "When a man loves his brother (for Allah's sake) let him tell him that he loves him". <b>[Abu Dawud and At- Tirmidhi, who classified it as Hadith Sahih]</b>.
عن أبي كريمة المقداد بن معد يكرب رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:
إذا أحب الرجل أخاه، فليخبره أنه يحبه
((رواه أبو داود، والترمذي وقال : حديث حسن)).

<b>Guidance from the Hadith:</b><br>
1) When one loves his brother, he should tell him as this is part of the guidance of the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him).<br>
2) To inform whom you love that you love him for the sake of Allah is a reason for fortifying the bond of brotherhood and fostering friendliness and affection.
