Riyad as-Salihin, 362
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
I heard Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "Whosoever visits an ailing person or a brother of his to seek the Pleasure of Allah, an announcer (angel) calls out: 'May you be happy, may your walking be blessed, and may you be awarded a dignified position in Jannah". <b>[At- Tirmidhi, who categorized it as Hadith Hasan]</b>.
وعنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:
من عاد مريضًا أو زار أخًا له في الله، ناداه منادٍ، بأن طبت، وطاب ممشاك، وتبوأت من الجنة منزلاً
((رواه الترمذي وقال : حديث حسن ، وفي بعض النسخ غريب)).

<b>Guidance from the Hadiths:</b><br>
1) It is recommended to visit those whom one takes as brothers for the sake of Allah, since the bond of brotherliness for Allah’s sake is stronger than the bonds of blood, marriage, and worldly interests.<br>
2) The virtue of loving others and visiting them for the sake of Allah is highlighted by the Hadith. Whoever loves Allah sincerely, loves His allies sincerely.<br>
3) Visiting one another for the sake of Allah is a reason for entering Paradise and earning a great reward.<br>
4) The Shariah encourages all that which fosters affection between brothers, like communicating with and visiting one another.
