A bedouin came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "You (people) kiss the boys! We don't kiss them." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I cannot put mercy in your heart after Allah has taken it away from it."

"Some Bedouin people came to the Prophet(ﷺ) and said: 'Do you kiss your children?' He said: 'Yes'. He said: 'But we, by Allah, never kiss (our children)'. The Prophet(ﷺ) said: 'What can I do if Allah has taken away mercy from you?'"

Some bedouins came to Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and asked: "Do you kiss your children?" He said, "Yes". They then said: "By Allah, we do not kiss them." The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "I cannot help you if Allah has snatched kindness from your heart

'A'isha said, "A bedouin came to the Prophet, (ﷺ), and asked, "Do you kiss your children? We do not kiss them.' The Prophet, (ﷺ), said, 'Can I put mercy in your hearts after Allah has removed it from them?'"
