Usama bin Zaid was asked at what pace the Prophet (ﷺ) rode during Hajjat-ul-Wada` "He rode at a medium pace, but when he came upon an open way he would go at full pace."

Yahya related to me from Malik from Hisham ibn Urwa that his father said, "I was sitting with Usama ibn Zayd when some one asked him, 'How did the Messenger of Allah, (ﷺ), travel when he went from Arafa to Muzdalifa during the farewell hajj

Hisham bin ‘Urwah reported on the authority of his father Usamah bin Zaid was asked when I was sitting along with him, how did the Messenger of Allaah(ﷺ) travel during the Farewell Pilgrimage when he proceeded from ‘Arafah to Al Muzdalifah?

"He used to ride at a moderately fast pace, and when he came upon some open space he would gallop."

"Usamah bin Zaid was asked - while I was sitting with him: 'How did the Messenger of Allah travel during the Farewell Pilgrimage when he moved on?' He said: 'He rode at a moderate pace, and if he found some open space, he would gallop.'"

“How did the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) travel when he departed from ‘Arafat?” He said: “He moved at a quick pace, and when he reached an open space he would make his camel run.”
