Riyad as-Salihin, 48
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
A man asked the Prophet (ﷺ) for an advice and he (ﷺ) said, "Do not get angry". The man repeated that several times and he replied, "Do not get angry". <b>[Al-Bukhari]</b>.
وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه ، أن رجلاً قال للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: أوصني، قال: "لا تغضب" فردد مراراً، قال: " لاتغضب" رواه البخاري.

Suppresses his rage: to withstand its cause and bear it patiently.<br>
<b>Guidance from the Hadiiths:</b><br>
1) It shows the excellence of patience as it is one of the major means to draw oneself closer to Allah, the Exalted, and a most important advice to be heeded by the believer.<br>
2) When the believer bears patiently and awaits Allah’s reward, Allah Almighty expiates his sins.<br>
3) An aspect of Allah’s mercy towards his believing servants is that He expiates their sins by afflicting them with calamities and plights of this world.
