It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:

“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was never asked about someone who had done one thing before another, but he would gesture with both his hands to say: ‘There is no harm in that.’”

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ مَا سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ عَمَّنْ قَدَّمَ شَيْئًا قَبْلَ شَىْءٍ إِلاَّ يُلْقِي بِيَدَيْهِ كِلْتَيْهِمَا ‏
