عاصم بن كليب بن شهاب بن المجنون · shamela-1293 · page 949, entry [4021]عاصم بن كليب بن شهاب بن المجنون الجرمي الكوفي. روى عن: أبيه، وأبي بردة بن أبي موسى، وعبد الرحمن بن الأسود، ومحارب بن دثار، وعلقمة بن وائل بن حجر، ومحمد بن كعب القرظي، وغيرهم. وعنه: ابن عون، وشعبة، والقاسم بن مالك المزني، وزائدة، وأبو الأحوص، وشريك، والسفيانان، وأبو عوانة، وعلي بن عاصم الواسطي، وغيرهم. قال الأثرم، عن أحمد: لا بأس بحديثه. وقال ابن معين، والنسائي: ثقة. وقال أبو حاتم: صالح. وقال الآجري: قلت لأبي داود: عاصم بن كليب ابن من؟ قال: ابن شهاب، كان من العباد، وذكر من فضله، قلت: كان مرجئا؟ قال: لا أدري. وقال في موضع آخر: كان أفضل أهل الكوفة. وقال شريك بن عبد الله النخعي كان مرجئا. وذكره ابن حبان في «الثقات». قلت: وأرخ وفاته سنة سبع وثلاثين ومائة، وكذا أرخه خليفة. وقال ابن شاهين في «الثقات»: قال أحمد بن صالح المصري: يعد من وجوه الكوفيين الثقات. وفي موضع آخر: هو ثقة مأمون. وقال ابن المديني: لا يحتج به إذا انفرد. وقال ابن سعد: كان ثقة يحتج به، وليس بكثير الحديث، توفي في أول خلافة أبي جعفر. • بخ ٤ -Open exact record
