It was narrated from Masruq that 'Aishah said:

"The Prophet (ﷺ) gave his wives the choice and that was not a divorce."

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ صُدْرَانَ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَشْعَثُ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ - عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ قَدْ خَيَّرَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نِسَاءَهُ فَلَمْ يَكُنْ طَلاَقًا ‏.‏
