‏ إِذَا انْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ نَعْلِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلاَ يَمْشِ فِي نَعْلٍ وَاحِدَةٍ حَتَّى يُصْلِحَهَا ‏

‏ ‏.‏

English translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:

The Prophet (ﷺ) [ﷺ] said: "If the strap of the sandal of one of you breaks, let him not walk in one sandal until he fixes it."

‏ إِذَا انْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ نَعْلِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلاَ يَمْشِ فِي الأُخْرَى حَتَّى يُصْلِحَهَا ‏

English translation

It was narrated that Abu Razin said:

"I saw Abu Hurairah clap his hand to his forehead and say: 'O people of Al-'Iraq, you claim that I tell lies about the Messenger of Allah [ﷺ]. I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of Allah [ﷺ] say: If the strap of the sandal of one of you breaks, let him not walk in the other until he fixes it.'"
