‏ اقْتُلُوهُ ‏

English translation

It was narrated from Ansas that the Prophet (ﷺ) entered Makkah wearing a helmet. It was said that Ibn Katal was haging on to the drapes of the Kabah and he said:

"Kill him."

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ وَعَلَيْهِ الْمِغْفَرُ فَقِيلَ ابْنُ خَطَلٍ مُتَعَلِّقٌ بِأَسْتَارِ الْكَعْبَةِ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ ‏

أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ وَعَلَى رَأْسِهِ الْمِغْفَرُ ‏.‏

English translation

It was narrated from Anas that:

the Prophet (ﷺ) entered Makkah in the year of the Conquest wearing a helmet on his heard.

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ الْمَكِّيُّ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم دَخَلَ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ بِغَيْرِ إِحْرَامٍ ‏.‏

English translation

It was narrated from Jabir bin Abdulla that the Prophet (ﷺ) entered on the day of the Conquest of Makkah wearing a black Imamah (turban), without being in Ihram.
