Someone say says, "A person is given an answer

Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, (ﷺ), said, "The supplication of any of you is answered as long as he does not get impatient and say, 'I made supplication and was not answered.'"

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ‏:‏ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ عُبَيْدٍ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَكَانَ مِنَ الْقُرَّاءِ وَأَهْلِ الْفِقْهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ‏:‏ يُسْتَجَابُ لأَحَدِكُمْ مَا لَمْ يَعْجَلْ، يَقُولُ‏:‏ دَعَوْتُ فَلَمْ يُسْتَجَبْ لِي‏.‏

Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, (ﷺ), said, "The supplication of any of you is answered as long as he does not make supplication for something which is a wrong action or cutting off ties of kinship or become impatient and say, 'I made supplication and was not answered,' and so he stops making supplication.'"

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ، أَنَّ رَبِيعَةَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَهُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ‏:‏ يُسْتَجَابُ لأَحَدِكُمْ مَا لَمْ يَدْعُ بِإِثْمٍ أَوْ قَطِيعَةِ رَحِمٍ، أَوْ يَسْتَعْجِلَ فَيَقُولُ‏:‏ دَعَوْتُ فَلاَ أَرَى يَسْتَجِيبُ لِي، فَيَدَعُ الدُّعَاءَ‏.‏
