يَقُولُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُؤْذِينِي ابْنُ آدَمَ يَسُبُّ الدَّهْرَ وَأَنَا الدَّهْرُ بِيَدِيَ الأَمْرُ أُقَلِّبُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ
. قَالَ ابْنُ السَّرْحِ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ مَكَانَ سَعِيدٍ . وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ .
English translation
Abu Hurairah reported the prophet (ﷺ) as saying:
Allah most high says : “The son of Adam injures me by abusing time, whereas I am time. Authority is in my hand. I alternate the night and the day”. Ibn al-Sarh said: “on the authority of Ibn al-Musayyab instead of Sa’id’.
